Bio:
Vitaliy Gerasymenko (b. 1993, Crimea, Ukraine) is an audiovisual artist working across photography and cinematography. His practice explores visual storytelling through urban environments, human presence, and material textures — using the camera as a means to reflect on contemporary spaces and the states of mind they evoke.
Originally trained in linguistics and literature, Vitaliy brings a narrative sensibility to his visual work. After earning an MA in Linguistics, he worked in theatre, advertising, and film production before studying cinematography at ESCAC. His experience spans both commercial and independent projects, including collaborations on films selected by major international festivals.
